Who is Wopila? A wild rez dog who grew up in the prisoner of war camp #334(Wounded Knee South Dakota), She became an activist dog when she joined Dancing Horse Camp in Wounded Knee. She is now a traveling activist dog who educates and empowers young activists. She is a poet, a musican, street performer, and warrior dog. She recently spent 4 months living at Oceti Sakowin fighting for future generations clean water and indigenous sovereignty. Her comic book is a community education tool. She also hosts workshops about the long history of broken treaties that include activities and group discussion. The 4 months fighting for clean water and indigenous sovereignty at Standing Rock changed her life forever...she has now chosen a life of fighting for justice, freedom, and clean water. Her comic book is a community education tool. She hopes to inspire the 7th Generation as they fight for their lives and the future of the planet. She is community organizer, street performer and a motherdog
